Statistical Methods for Research Workers

The Statistical Consulting Service, located within the School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics offers consulting assistance for research to students and staff.

For the benefit of postgraduate students and staff, a introductory course, Statistical Methods for Research Workers is being offered for which no previous knowledge of statistics is assumed.

The course commences in Week 3 and ends in Week 11 on Monday mornings from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The dates are March 6, 13 & 20, April 3, 10 & 24, May 1 & 8.

The course is given by Professor David Griffiths, who has extensive experience of providing statistical advice to non-statisticians.
