University of Auckland - Master of Law
At the University of Auckland there is the opportunity to do a Master of law in four different areas.
You can enrol a Master-of-Law-Program in
- Commercial Law
- Enviromental Law`
- General Law
- Public Law
A Law-Degree with an average of B or higher is required if the student
wants to enrol in that program sucessful. Courses with a total value of 120 points must be enrolled by the student, where there are different opportunities to pass a 120- point- program :
- For a Master by Research a 120-Points- Thesis is required
- Or a 90- Points- Thesis and 30 Points from either courses (Thesis-Course-Combination)
- Or you also can do a 120-Points-Dissertation
- Or you can do a Master-by-Coursework based on a 120- Points-System from different courses listed in the Master of Law Schedule.
- Or 90 points from courses and 30 points from a Dissertation (Course-Dissertation Combination)
The duration of the program is for fulltime-student one year and for a
parttime-student two years. The program offered by the University of Auckland offers the student a complex range of different opportunities to do a Master of Law. The
student can choose individually the best way for himself to enrol the program .
Especially for students who already have choosen their main Law-subject
their homecountry the University of Auckland offers a opportunity to continue with a Master as a postgraduate-program.
