About The University of Tasmania, established in 1890, is one of Australia's oldest universities and is renowned for innovation. The university scores on the acdemic achievement of its' students.
The university came about as a result of a merger in 1991 and therefore, is a blend of old and new traditions. Tasmania delivers courses that prepare its' graduates for the challenges of the 21st century.
