Marketing and Communication Manager

 

Marketing and Communication Manager performs the following:

Duties and responsibilities

To prioritise in the following order:

1. Personal assistance

2. General office duties and client management

3. Sales and business development

  • To be responsible for major marketing activities in assigned countries based on the knowledge of local languages
  • To work closely with Managing Director and International Relations Director
  • To identify and actively search for market opportunities in assigned countries
  • To discuss and advise on the market development
  • To coordinate and implement plans for the pricing and promotion of products or services.
  • To evaluate marketing opportunities and monitor associated investments, results and conditions

 Daily tasks

To support business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs in assigned countries and general company plans

  • To undertake market research to identify market opportunities for new and existing markets, products and services
  • To evaluate the competitive environment and the positioning of existing products and services
  • To advise on all elements of the marketing mix including products and services, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, sales channels and agency agreements
  • To prepare sales and marketing forecasts, assist colleagues in the preparation of marketing plans, and coordinate marketing plans for overall business
  • To overview and coordinate existing representatives’ activities and review agency agreements
  • To identify potential new markets through new agents and local representatives
  • To coordinate and participate in product development and management, through initial product concept and testing to ongoing monitoring of market success
  • To liaise with customers and other agencies to ensure the organisation is well informed on changing market conditions and trends

 MARKETING:

  • supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs in assigned countries and general company plans

  • responding to inquiries related to marketing policies and procedures
  • preparing and reviewing marketing reports concerning the organisation's activities
  • collecting data associated with projects undertaken, and reports on project outcomes
  • overseeing and co-ordinating marketing procedures and reviewing, evaluating and implementing new procedures
  • administering necessary mail, email and correspondence on daily basis
  • establishing work priorities ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are followed
  • advising management on matters requiring their attention implementing their decisions
  • dealing with marketing inquiries and agency proposals from outside the organisation
  • liaising with national and international partners and outsourced agents
  • ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • resolving problems concerning marketing activities and procedures
  • overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to policies

SALES:

· German speaking countries

· Search for various marketing opportunities

· Ethnic communities in German speaking countries

· Cold calling and potential client contacts

· European tours (organization of German speaking market, individual interviews and group presentations)

· Generating sales and marketing opportunities by following the market trends – locally and internationally, government press releases and news

 DAILY TASKS:

· Downloading/checking emails and prioritise

· Answering the land line telephone

· Checking the land line messages and act or forward the messages

· Preparing online assessment forms for initial assessment by migration lawyer

· Case management for existing clients

· Taking over new clients

· All supporting duties for managing director

WEEKLY TASKS: 

· Checking all client files (electronic, emails and hardcopy) for necessary actions and follow-ups

· Preparing a list of tasks/updates for managing director

· Preparing to-do list for the following week (forums, clients, follow-ups etc)

· Reporting to the Managing Director
