After a job interview

• Thank the interviewer for the time with a smile and a handshake
• Send a thank you letter/email or a follow-up note few days after the interview
• Give a follow-up phone call to the interviewer a week after the interview
• Call your employment consultant immediately after the interview if you used an agency
